Kanken was invented in 1978 in order to prevent back pain among Swedish school children. The classic backpack has been adapted to fit children, as a good habit should never be formed too soon. Kanken Kids offers shoulder straps specifically designed for small children. It also has a chest strap to keep the shoulder straps in their proper place. The design allows children the freedom to take along their lunch and a snack, as well as their favourite bear, change of clothes, and fruit. Vinylon F fabric is tough and can withstand water and dirt. It has a large main compartment with a zipper that makes it easy to unpack and pack. There are two side pockets with flat sides and one zipped pocket in the front. The cushion's PE foam seat cushions are stored in the interior back pockets. You will find the handles at top and the adjustable shoulder straps. The reflective logo is located on the front. It also features an address label within the main compartment.
